My Personal List of Future Endeavors

We all have wants and desires. Aspirations and goals. Dreams we want desperately to be reality. Here are some of mine, no matter how small or seemingly odd.

  1. I want to rent a cabin/cottage on the beach that has no TV (don’t want the temptation). I will bring a large assortment of books that I have been wanting to read and I will read, read, read – and when I’m not reading, I’ll be enjoying the beach, and hopefully writing. I want this beach visit to be a solo trip. Just me, my books, my writing, and the beach.
  2. I want to get a pedicure and manicure, both which I’ve never had before. I want to get over my fear/anxiety that the pedicurist will laugh or be horrified at the condition of my incredibly dry and cracked feet (heels).
  3. I want a facial while I’m at the spa getting the mani/pedi. Never had one of those and the skin always looks so replenished and vibrant after people get one. Why shouldn’t I?
  4. I want to get together with my closest writing friends and have a real writer’s retreat. Writing, talking, supporting each other, critiquing, growing our friendships, and having fun.
  5. I want to visit Scotland, Ireland, England, Greece, Italy, and Spain with a good friend or two. For at least two weeks.
  6. I want to get my hair cut again soon. Two inches or so. Nothing drastic, but since I got about ten or so inches cut last time, more than a few months ago, I’ve grown accustomed to it being shorter (below chin level but not quite shoulder level) and loving it.
  7. I want seafood soon. My guys don’t care much for seafood, but I’d like some crab, grilled shrimp, and I’d like to try lobster. I’ve also been craving the rolls and cinnamon butter from Texas Roadhouse. Yum.
  8. I want to start my career. It’s been a long time coming and I just want to start my career already.
